Touchstone Farm Horses For Sale
Our horses come with a current coggins, health papers if necessary for OUT OF STATE TRANSPORT, all will be up to date on vaccinations, hoof trimming, deworming and most of our horses are breed registered. Any outside vet checks, farrier reports, ect will be more than welcome at the request of the buyer.

TOUCHSTONE FARM strives to produce sound, quality trail horses that have seen and been all over Virginia. Our horses are tested by our riders rigorously and are always educated in the arena and know the basics, and sometimes a little more like reining, team penning, jumping, obstacle courses, ect!
TOUCHSTONE FARM also helps provide a new light for the retired Off-Track-Thoroughbreds that would otherwise be sold at auction. Occasionally these horses have proven to be very competetive in the hunter or jumper show rings. They are offered a second chance here while we let them learn how to be a horse again, learn how to ride soft through seat, hand and leg cues, and even trail ride on some of our trails around the farm to gain confidence and balance over different obstacles.

"Pretty Boy" is one of the quietest Thoroughbreds I've ever owned, ridden, or even worked with. He's 3 years old, technically 4 this year (will be four officially May 17th of 2012) and yet he has the brains and temperament of a 16 year old school master. Follows you everywhere without lead or even a halter. Great ground manners. Solid w/t/c, learning simple lead changes to get him ready for flying lead changes. Quiet around dogs and traffic. Rides in large groups or alone. Started lightly over 2' jumps, incredibly willing and even temperament. Won't find another one his age and size with this great of temperamet. Price will increase quickly with training.

Tontos T-Bone is a 2004 Registered APHA Bay Tobiano gelding. He has
had 30 days professional training at Touchstone Farm, VA and now is
completing his first Full Season hunting with Snickersville Hounds in
Middleburg, Va. He is currently leased out and will be available the
end of Febuary, but for serious inquirers I could arrange a meet and
ride (possibly with the hunt). He will w/t/c, back, will work a
gate, has a great WHOA. No buck, rear, or bolt. He is not spooky on
the trail. Hes been trail riding by himself all season on days when
hes not hunting. He is hunting first and second flight, and has just
started jumping, he LOVES it, and has a natural talent. He is jumping
3' coops, stone walls, logs, and fences. He will load, tie, etc. UTD
and ready to go. $8500.
