Tyrees Magnolia Sisco is an exquisite young colt with lots of potential ahead of him. He was born early summer of 2007 and is by the Triple M Farm stallion Watch Tyree Jack ), and is out of a King G-granddaughter buckskin broodmare, Seco Magnolia Sue. He has excellent conformation and is shedding out to be a dark bronze buckskin with the traditional black points. Watch Tyree Jack tends to stamp his foals with a special spot, or mark (whether it be a white mark or a dark spot on the blaze), and has stamped Sisco with a diamond shaped spot on his muzzle.
Lineage: Sisco is a son of Watch Tyree Jack out of Seco Magnolia Sue. His sire carries the infamous Two Eyed Jack bloodlines and also the legendary foundation stallion, King P-234 bloodlines from his dam. For Reference sire, TWO EYED JACK, click here. He is very well put together and has lots of color in his background. His sire carries the dun gene and consistantly throws buckskins, palominos, bays, duns, red duns and we hope he has passed on his color, temperament, athleticism to his young foal. His dam is a great-granddaughter of King and traces back King, Poco Bueno and Aledo Bar.
HISTORY: The American Quarter Horse Association has registered 3.7 million American Quarter Horses and serves more than 300,000 worldwide members. The American Quarter Horse is the first breed of horse native to the United States. The breed evolved when the bloodlines of horses brought to the New World were mixed. Foundation American Quarter Horse stock originated from Arab, Turk and Barb breeds. Selected stallions and mares were crossed with horses brought to Colonial America from England and Ireland in the early 1600s. This combination resulted in a compact, heavily muscled horse that evolved to fill the colonist's passion for short-distance racing. Today, heavy muscling and sprinter's speed remain characteristic traits but the breed has been specialized to excel at particular events. Competing in every discipline imaginable from traditional rodeo events, such as roping and barrel racing, to the refined English classes of dressage and show jumping, has made the American Quarter Horse one of the most versatile breeds in the world. Although competition options are nearly unlimited, the number one interest of American Quarter Horse owners remains riding for recreation. (Compliments of International Museum of the Horse.)
